Night Light Ride

Monday, May 12 2008

The Night Light Ride kicks off the week’s riding events. Beginning in Hyde Park, the route winds through downtown Boise and on to Warm Springs Avenue, then out to the Old Penitentiary. There we’ll regroup, enjoy some beautiful views of the foothills and head back. The ride is designed for all ages, abilities, and types of bicycles. Be sure to bring your helmet and wear bright clothing. The Night Light Ride is a great way to get warmed up for the rest of the week’s riding events, meet other cyclists in the community, and enjoy a great evening out on your bicycle. The first ten to register will receive a free super bright rear LED blinky. In addition, a complete light set will be raffled off to participants. This will be a good opportunity to check out the latest in lighting technology and see how other commuters stay visible at night.

Signed waiver and helmet required. Front and rear lights recommended, please bring what you have. Some additional lights will be available for use during the ride. This is a no-drop ride. See rules for more information.
