Road Biking Intro and Skills Ride
Tuesday, May 18

Join us for an introduction to road cycling and touring while winding through east Boise's beautiful roads and paths. The ride is brought to you by Eastside Cycles and Flatbread Community Oven, both located in Bown Crossing. Take an opportunity to check out what east Boise has to offer.

This ride starts at Eastside Cycles in Bown Crossing, travels through Surprise Valley and then out towards Lucky Peak dam. There will be an optional hill climb to the top of Lucky Peak Dam. We return on the greenbelt to Harris Ranch and Eckert Road before heading back on Boise Avenue to Bown Crossing. The terrain consists of some modest hills, flats and the greenbelt. The pace will be beginner to intermediate. Road bikes are ideal. Hybrids and cross-bikes will work also.

Join us on the patio at Flatbread Community Oven in Bown Crossing, right next door to Eastside Cycles, after the ride for Boise's best wood-fired pizza, beer specials featuring Michelob Ultra, prizes and giveaways for Boise Bike Week

Helmet and signed waiver required.
