Spoke Card

All participants will receive a Boise Bike Week spoke card with all of the events listed on it. Use it to sign up for multiple BBW events- the more punches on your spoke card the more chances to win some fantastic prizes at the end of the week, including a bike trailer from BOB !

General

  1. All events are FREE!
  2. All rides require a helmet and a signed waiver .  Waiver for participants under 18 must be signed by a parent or guardian. Only one waiver is required if participating in multiple events.
  3. Participants are responsible for their own food and drink during rides. If it's hot, make sure you carry some water. Volunteers can help if you need a way to carry food or drink.
  4. Participants are responsible for maintaining their equipment in safe working order. Let a volunteer know if you have concerns about equipment; we can probably help. We suggest being prepared for a flat tire by always carrying a spare tube, tire irons, and a patch kit.
  5. Some events, or the ride home after the event, may extend into dusk or beyond. Front and rear lights in addition to reflectors are highly recommended. After sunset, a front light and rear reflector are required by law.
  6. Boise Bike Week volunteers will lead all rides. All rides are no-drop, meaning nobody gets left behind.
  7. Follow the rules of the road .
  8. Obey all traffic laws and ride the way a car would drive. Be predictable.
  9. Ride single file except in areas where it is safe to ride side by side.
  10. Please ride in such a manner as to not offend motorists, pedestrians, etc.
